PNW Guardian Haven is here to help. We are a non-profit organization that helps you handle the paperwork, track down missing forms, and update your records in Washington State. We handle the administrative heavy lifting for you.

If you lost your documents, it can put your whole life on pause. We help you cut through the red tape.

We help you order official copies of birth certificates, marriage certificates, and other vital records.

If your old paperwork has spelling mistakes or incorrect dates, we help you gather the proof needed to get the state to fix it.
⚧️ Changing Your Legal Name & Gender Markers
Your ID should match who you truly are. Washington State allows you to update your gender marker (including using an "X") and legally change your name.

We fill out the exact forms you need for the Department of Licensing (DOL) and Department of Health (DOH).

For name changes, we prepare your court paperwork, track your court date, and show you how to update your new name with Social Security.
Getting Your State ID or Driver's License
If your license is suspended, expired, or has a hold on it, getting a new one is confusing.
